So I just decided to post a couple of pictures we've taken recently to illustrate our latest goings and comings. Here is Breck beginning to create her garden space. She is extremely excited about having her own garden and has grand visions for it's end result. I think it is a good passion, so we are going to give her this west corner to have as her own spot. It doesn't have a huge pine tree right over it and even gets some sun so hopefully she'll have some success. If nothing else she'll get big muscles from pulling up sod.She is always hogging any fresh flowers that come into the house and running outside to search for more signs of spring.

Here is Talia working on our main long term project-her new room. I finally chose a paint color that we all agreed on and we put a little bit up on Saturday. She is excited about the change. OTher new things happening to Talia is that she has a loose tooth and is nibbling all her food from the side like a rabbit lately. She also has four cavities which we were not too excited about. Breck had four at about this same age. She has always loved the dentist and asks over and over when she gets to go-we'll see if she feels the same way after having four fillings done in one afternoon. She is also eating like no other. She eats like a bird typically, but her appetite for fruit, and bread and pb and honey has been amazing lately. One morning she has 3 peices of bread. She still remains extremely picky. For her Sunday dinner choice today we had refried bean and cheese burritos and asparagus. She loves simplicity.

This picture is from her book one recital day. We were so proud of her efforts and successful recital. She worked so VERY hard. I didn't get to see her since I was accompanying her but my understanding was that she looked very much like this during the whole thing. Kind of blankly looking out over the audience.

Talia wanted to share her Gavotte. This has been a difficult song for her and she can play it much better than this. I took a library book away from Capriel during the middle of the song that she was drawing on. This of course caused a ruckus and made it hard for Tali to focus.

I don't have a picture of Landen. He has been very seriously focussing on BBall and has begun braving the cold weather and hitting the outside court as much as possible. He is learning how to do arpeggio chords on the guitar which are tough for him,but are going to be so cool. He has been dealing with some really bad canker and cold sores. We feel very sorry for him as he struggles to eat. His body has a lot of sensitivities along with all his abilities.

I got a new calling. I'm one of the primary choristers. I've done this once before but still find it a daunting task. It takes a lot of prep work and creativity. I'm working with a friend who is awesome-though a bit intimidating because of her incredible abilities. I wish I'd taken notes while I sat there playing the piano for the past couple of years. It's funny how I can not really know the songs even though I've been playing them for so long. Wish me luck. A number of friends have had babies recently which has kept us more busy than normal. It has helped Capriel understand more whats happening soon at our house. She frequently talks about our baby and how she will help with it. I have told her that I want her to use the toilet before the baby comes, but I'm not sure that will happen. She can wet whenever she wants, but hasn't mastered much more than that. Now when I change her messy diapers she mimicks my wishful tone and says, "poopies in toilet, so great." Capriel really really keeps us hopping. She is so coordinated, busy, and into everything.

Capriel has wanted to see herself on the computer for quite some time. This is nothing special, just our wild little dancing girl.

Great stuff. Talia is playing so well. I need to get Ryanna to watch; maybe it would inspire or guilt her into focus.
