We had a little party last Friday at our house. It was a full house and there were plenty of kids running around. At one point a number of kids raced inside and said, "Capriel's cutting her hair!" We found her outside on the steps, sissors in hand with the proudest, slyest, "look what I just did!" look on her face. She was far from feeling guilty. I don't know if the kids were prodding her on, or if she was justing enjoying the crowd, but she sure was proud of herself. With 35 people in the house, she certainly got a lot of attention. Anyway, the first picture shows how she mostly just chopped off the sides leaving a tail of the original length down the middle. Brecklyn probably mourned her loss more than anyone because Capriel has been the only subject willing to submit to her experimentation. Talia is a little too controlling and particular, and Rhyse just doesn't have what it takes yet. So we took a trip down to Great Clips and got a 7.99 haircut. She is the only child to have ever had a professional haircut. She was silent during the cut, and came out with a little A line that is actually quite cute on her. Breck says it makes her look like a pixie. She continues to have no remorse, and is getting tons of positive attention, so time will tell if she tries to attempt it again.

Priel you are adorable. Maybe you have another hair stylist on your hands watch out Ryeese.
I miss the free flying locks, just as much as I miss the three dreads that used to stick up. Just one more sign that my tinker-bell niece is growing up.
Capriel, I love your short hair - but it's probably short enough, now, don't you think? Oh, the power of scissors.....!
I think it looks very cute! I can see why she is getting complements about it.
kids just can't resist the scissors. it is the power of it all. She is adorable short or long. go with it.
