The Thrill of the Search

So

So I just had to find some pictures of some of my latest finds at DI. Just cause these shoes looked pretty nice and had brands I wasn't familar with, I decided on a whim to look them up online. What I found was that the Lelli Kelly shoes priced at $69.95 (I paid 3) and the El Naturalista clogs were currently for $140.00 (I paid 6)

It is for this reason that I am continually compelled back to that crazy place. The excitement of the hidden treasures, mixed amongst a lot of junk is a little addicting. I think there is some pride in putting something together (an outfit or home decor peice) by oneself, instead of just purchasing it in its entirety at a store. Or maybe there is pride in looking or creating something cute that is from DI, because it means you actually had enough taste (not just enough money to shop at the "hip" stores) to dig through the store, find, and put together something that is appealing. This pyschological state is worth a lot of analysis, but that would take a lot of time, and that is something I absolutely don't have. But I think that me and my sisters and my mom and many of my friends have found a bond. We love to search alone or together and then we love to share with each other what it is we discovered. Someone with lots of time should study this, because I think it is a fascinating thing.

Now I just wish I could "discover" how to format my blogs!

Fun shoes! Gotta love the DI/Goodwill. I definitely think its the way to go, but of course you know that. I always just end up feeling guilty when I buy stuff new, because I think, "If I would have just been a bit more patient I probably could have found something similar at Goodwill!

Click on freebies on the top, then click blog designs.

You can either download a template or a background. I did the template.

Then just follow the directions as to what you want. You can call me or email me if you need any help! :)

Keep writing, Sabina. You do it too well not to. And your public needs you.

What great deals! We wish we had a DI like yours. Unfortunately, our Goodwill is kind of a joke, but we may still be found searching nonetheless.
