More pictures from Craig's phone

Our visit to the USU art museum. Inside all these shoes were little devices that were sort of like a combo between a bell and a drum. They played at different pitches. The shoes would lift up in various arrangements to create a peice of music. The kids loved it.

Dad's birthday dinner. Lots of babies!

Breck's Dog contract. Teaching us the do's and don'ts of raising a puppy. Signed by Pepper

The surprise's I discovered Valentine's morning at 6am. Talia's fancy hairdo, my door heart attacked and pink (somewhat flesh looking) german pancakes courtesty of Landen and Pepper. Everyone was a little tired by the time evening rolled around.

Breck's bball team. She had a great season, improving so much and really enjoying the team atmosphere.

We took the family skiiing for the first time Friday night. It was our ward ski night so we got steeply discounted rates. Really wish we'd gotten more pics, but needless to say we had a great but tiring time.
I don't think I will ever forget taking Capriel down her first real run. At the end of the run we were in such a pickle. I was doing almost the middle splits, Capriel was splayed out and twisted all over. It took us a considerable time trying to detangle ourselves. It was a long long run, full of laughter, tears, and (how and the heck am I going to get her up and not fall down the hill myself). I found myself awfully sore after snowlplowing both myself and her (or Talia) for a couple of hours. Talia did awesome and after taking a 1/2 hour class, trying the magic carpet for a couple of times she was ready to go. Every once in a while she would feel a little panicky and cry, but for the most part she just cruised up and down the mountain. Breck is our seasoned skiier because she's now been twise, so she showed us the ropes, and even took Craig down on his first ever lift ride and trip down a run. Talia and Capriel and Craig took a ski lesson to begin the night. It was hilarious to watch Craig (the only adult amongst a bunch of little kids) trying to duck walk, and make a pizza!) It was so proud of him for swallowing his pride and just doing something a little humbling right along with his kids. He did great! Landen was our babysitter and came along for the environment to play with friends in the lodge and help. Rhyse was rescued a couple of times when she'd wandered outside alone, but overall she stayed in and did who knows what. We found the whole process of renting and gearing up to be a little exhausting and crazy, and even more so as we tried to maneuver ourselves and our kids down the slopes, but I think we would all go back for more.

We took a bike ride yesterday. Here is Rhyse with her companion. Pepper has adored our beautiful weather and absolutely loves to spend every minute outside with the kids. Saturday we finished our apple tree pruning and did some general cleanup and playing outside. It felt so fabulous, but by the end of the day our cheeks were red and we were really really tired.

The picture of the family in snow gear really struck me. It's crazy to think your kids are old enough to go skiing! You've entered a new stage- a fun stage! You all looks so happy (Well except Capriel.) I love it!

Thanks for taking time to blog.
