Craig was having an 11 yr old Scout activity last night. They focused on assessing a few physical fitness parameters that they will again record in thirty days. My girls adore scouts and are very active participants in these nights. As the boys began their situps, one of the leaders apparently revealed that he had brought bags of M&M's as rewards. Talia has been talking a lot about having a six pack recently and has even made a list of foods she will and won't eat to put on the fridge. She surprised everyone by doing 100 situps. Then Capriel, never one to realize that she is younger and smaller than the others took her turn. She whipped out a legitimate (someone else was counting and holding her feet) 250 situps. She finished mostly because people were getting tired of watching her and ready to move on to the pull ups. She didn't even break a sweat or look winded. It really was amazing. Today all the kids are quite belly sore. Landen did 38 pushups and 10 pull ups. Tali did 5 pullups. Capriel asked me in the car today. "So do I have a 10 pack or a six pack or whatever because I did all those sit ups?" I responded, thinking of her tight, round little belly, "you have some kind of pack in that belly.!" She is an amazing athlete.
