Hmm, I'm not feeling especially eloquent today and I'm having difficulty thinking of any momentous events this week.
*We were able to join the Petersen crew and spend a morning spring cleaning at Grandma Petersen's. It was neat to be a part of a special family who truly honors and loves their Mother. I was proud of the kids for their efforts. There was a lot of work to be done and it was pretty overwhelming with the number of people but they buckled down and really made a difference. Breck learned the power of baking soda to cut grease, and Talia came to truly appreciate the beauty of a dust free ceramic animal!
* Breck joined me on Tuesday for her first ever exercise class! I was so impressed with her willingness to try something new and hard. At one point about 45 minutes in she came over to me-her face gray and said, "I think I'm going to pass out." I was feeling pretty similar at the time and not wanting her to actually do it sent her outside for a break. In the days following the class she became more sore than "she ever has before" and struggled to walk normally and maintain her emotional composure. Both of us are finally getting back to normal and though she says she will never go back, I'm going to keep pestering her!
*We had the missionaries over which in Utah where three stakes share one pair of missionaries is a special treat. It was at an importune time and I had to kind of wrestle with myself to sign up, but I was reminded of what a special experience it is to welcome them into your home. We got of kick of their completely opposite personalities as well as the fact that Rhyse spontaneously became completely obnoxious and talked non-stop and with great energy to one of the missionaries the entire time hardly stopping to eat.
*Landen finished the term with all A's! He works so hard.
*Talia continues to do two sports and is getting in awesome shape from all that running.
*Rhyse and I planted some tomotoes in the window sill
*It became snowy again and cold and we are all very sad about it and just craving the sun. I'm still working at chopping down the vicious barberrys that line the front walk and protecting my few tulips with my life. Starting to dream of flowers and trees, gardens, and fire pits, digging sod.
* The kids joined our neighbors grandkids for an early Easter Egg hunt! We are so lucky to have such kind neighbors.
*The big girls clipped the chickens wings for a job this week, but ended up clipping both wings so they continue to be excellent escape artists.
*Craig and I (mostly Craig) removed the door between the kitchen and the music room, framed it in and extended the fridge water line so that we can begin my little kitchen remodel.
*Landen and Craig and Breck went to a show "The hanging of El Bandito" that they really enjoyed.
*Went swimming with the little girls.
The kids thought this was hilarious. After talking about what to do with the ceiling in the kitchen for ag nauseum I finally took some action and cut a perfect-for-my-head size hole in the sheetrock and peeked up to take a look. Turns out my ceiling dreams are a no-go, but I sure made the kids giggle as I examined the situation.

That is a pretty great picture! Congrats Landen on all A's!
Okay, This is pretty much the most amazing photo I've seen in a long time.
