August Summer Play

Rhyse and Keiton at the splash pad
Rhyse and her ballet shoe bday cake Breck made (can't remember if I posted that or not)

 Fun at the service carnival.
Breck spent hours doing face painting at the service auction.  She got braver and braver as the night wore on.  I think Talia got her first (not a butterfly on your cheek) face paint job.

Capriel is planing on having her own horse someday
Breck and I after our Mary Kay "Consultation"  She is incredibly gorgeous with or without make up!

Talia trying out the swim cap.  Check out those eyes!
Celebrating at Golden Corral on the day Lani got cleared to run again.  A very big blessing in our family.  Thanks again to all who prayed for him.
Capri and Tal got to be in their first parade (the 24th of July)  It was a big deal for them.  Tal and Breck spent a few stressful minutes trying to turn Tal's bike into a covered wagon, but when that proved a little laborious for the time remaining, she  opted for a couple of flags taped to the handlebars:)

Rhyse Loved waving at the beautiful ladies and gathering gobs of treats!
Breck and Craig checking off one of Breck's bucket list items --A pie eating contest.  And Breck even won-slurping it up with great dexterity.

Taking down a wall at Kjirsti's.
 The magic of home-made rootbeer!

Capriel and Landen swam and swam and swam at Gma Pete's.  The kids couldn't get enough and the younger children made great improvements on their skills.  Capri and Tal both figured out the dive and Capriel become much more adept at breathing.  Rhyse mastered the "bob" completed in slow motion.
We hit Bear Lake for a long afternoon to finish up our summer.  It was a gorgeous day, a quiet beach and a lovely time to just play and chill with the kids.  They are so fun.

Capriel, Rhyse and I built this "fancy" sandcastle.  I had many conveniences for the castle dwellers enjoyment!
Breck and Lan, our beach bums spent hours just drifting on the tubes together talking and laughing

We finished our outing with shakes and fries at the locally famous raspberry shake shop.
