November 17, 2013

Halloween has come and gone, now on to Thanksgiving! Here are some pics of our pumpkin carving adventures.
Rhyse and her dad, the ever patient pumkin carving "assistant". Rhyse had a hard time committing to one particular design, but dad transferred flawlessly from a banana (per her specific request after looking around the kitchen for artistic inspiration) to a moon with stars.

This is not the best makeup job the production crew did on me, but darn it, I got an "A" in this class. We performed "Sleeping Beauty" and I played a fairy. It all honesty, it was a very fun activity, despite the intensity and demands of our instructor. I'm glad she let us do it. Rhyse came to enjoy our performance in all it's children's theatre glorious cheesiness, and I think she liked it.
Tali and Prill, our amazon muscle women have become obsessed with this new hobby. They frequently cartwheel and roundoff around the house, especially capriel.  Tali spends much of her energy talking with our vetran gymnast, Mom. They discuss techninque, events, and that sort of thing quite often.

Landen is showing some definite promise in the occupation of mechanial engineer. The bridge shown above was a huge project for Lan at school. He spent hours designing it to hold the most weight possible, but when it came down to it, he couldn't give up his baby to test the weight.
 Another of his works
 Malificent and I
A result of Mom's organizing kick. Anyone who wishes is welcome to come over and admire our labeled and boxed freezer!
Rhyse is finally old enough to enjoy the snow! I looked out my window Saturday to see her sitting on this chair alone in the snow covered yard, creating this work of art.
