So I am elated to report that after about 2 years I have compiled the very basic food storage recommended by the church for our family. We still have things to work on and organize, and I've yet to figure out this rotating thing. I just want to pack it in, close the door and leave it there. It drives me crazy how we keep eating it and then completed task as once again -not complete. I know that sounds silly, but that is the way things are. Now all I have to do is to learn how to eat some of these things better, and how to rotate. When I went to purchase my last 125 # of wheat, I announced pretty proudly that this was my last purchase for my years supply, I guess expecting some sort of ceremony or celebration, but all they did was give me a lukewarm congratulations. Alas, I suppose I'm not really the first to accomplish this! But I will give my plug for food storage, that I've gained a testimony of this principle, and feel that it has taught me obedience, and has given me a sense of peace and accomplishment. Start buying wheat!

Congratulations! I was pretty excited last week, because we bought a 25lb bag of Flour and sugar at Costco. It was the first time we had bought bags in that size. I've been trying to buy a few extra cans every time I go shopping, in hopes of building up a small food storage. We are far from having a complete supply but we're getting closer!
