Cheese

So I tried to take my fall pictures again this week. It was somewhat successful. Landen had been pretty sick and he lasted for about three pictures before he had had enough. And I really didn't get the lighting quite right. I need to go again a little later, cause my favorite spot was too bright. Breck works so hard to help me with Capriel, but the fact is, she is crazy and not very patient. Here are a few of our favorites.

We will reward the person who can give the best diologue box for this look. She gives it quite often.

This is a hat that Breck had just made at a birthday party. She loves to accessorize.

So Landen was pretty sick for a couple of days with a high fever, headache, and sore throat. He willed himself to be better so that he could go to his soccer game on Saturday. THey played some older girls who were very well coached. THey were getting creamed for almost a half. We wished that the Grandma/pa's could have been there for this game because not unlike all the games he plays, Landen played with incredible intensity, focus, and increasing skill. He was very fun to watch and helped score a couple of goals that got his team motivated and excited enough to make a come back. He is extremely tough and quick. I wish he had his uncles closer because he really does use the skills they have taught him. You can tell by watching him that he absolutely loves to play and gives all he has to the game. That is fun to see. He gets knocked down and tripped so often it seems that he spends half the time on the ground. He has a great coach who will hopefully teach them some skills they have been lacking. We'll try and video the kids soon.

Our second exciting news is that Talia has started a new song in violin. Since, we very nearly quit during the last song (Etude) it is quite a milestone for us to be moving on and still practicing the violin. We are both excited about the opportunity for new music. She also happily began her dancing career and easily jumped into the class. Breck started her voice group. She was glad to have experienced some "funny" warmups already with Kjirsti so she didn't feel so silly doing them in her class.
