Fall fun

this is a funny story I wanted to share. After fast Sunday I hinted that Texas sheet cake sounded really good. Craig, being the thoughtful man that he is decided to make some for me. Through some of my good intentioned multitasking skill advice-he ended up doubling the buttermilk in the already doubled batch. (He thought of doubling it all on his own so that we wouldn't need to make anything for dinner the next night as we were having guests) So he ended up having to having to quadruple the batch. 4lbs of powdered sugar and 2 lbs of butter later this was the end result.

Here is a favorite activity for the kids. They love to rake up the leaves, put them on the tramp and jump in, throw, and play. It was a sweet moment to look out the window and see them enjoying each other and the simple pleasures of nature.

Here is my crew. Brecklyn, is Po from Kung foo Panda with a paper mache mask that she made all by herself and a hand stitched, hand stuffed costume. Landen as a ninja for the 3rd straight year. Rhyse as our little tap dancer, Talia as a clown, and Capriel as Clara from the nutcracker.
