Talia is a wonderful sister to Rhyse. She often will take her change her diaper, get her dressed, and do soemthing special with her. Note the hairdoo! (Just happens to be with a ton of Brecks ortho elastics which are kind of important, but oh well) This picture I believe, shows a little better how Rhyse is changing. She is very much alive in our home and is quite silly and a real tease.
Breck has pampered her precious basil plants since our move. I think they were an important element in her emotional transition. She has grown them from seed, and loved them like children. Here is her first big harvest.
I was in charge of the playgroup field trip for this month. We went to the fire station. For days Rhyse would ask, "are we going to the fire place?" I like this picture because it shows how excited she was and how much she felt apart of the "big kids". They both listened intensely and brought home a lot of information about fire gear (how it is not scary) the thermo-senser gun (really cool) that they have been sharing with us at dinner, and what to do if their clothes catch fire.
Breck has been working hard at her art. We think that she is doing amazing work and improving so rabidly. Here are a couple of her latest. One is a poster entry for a safety club, another a project she worked on in her art class. She has been focusing a lot on shading and is beginning to explore watercolors.
Here is a fuzzy picture of the beautiful mountains. They are magnificent. Between our pine tree and the tree to the left is a deer which are frequent visitors at all times in the day. We had a heavy snow this weekend, so we no longer have any green showing. It is cold but the kids have had great times in the snow, Craig is figuring out the snowblower, and the light reflects intensly off the snow making the house very bright.
Here is the picture Breck worked on in her art class.

Wow Breck!!!
You have a LOT of talent there. Keep developing it.
Fabulous painting Brecklyn. The picture of the bird is also awesome Landen. Talia, your haircut is so cute. The bread looks delicious. We hope Capriel is feeling better.
