We had a haircutting day last week. Talia is always game for a big change. We took off probably four inches. She loves her new "bob" as she calls it and I think she looks so cute.
Here is the finished project-without any styling. Talia has beautiful thick smooth hair. It is beastly to comb through but it lays so straight and holds it shape so well, she can go a few days with very little effort and still look great.
Landen has been enjoying the new varieties of birds here. Here you see an American blue-tailed fluffy chested white-eyed twillow (just kidding-I have no idea) that he photographed. He played his first indoor game with the U-13 team. THey won 20-2. He was so excited on finding that he was going to get to play that he could hardly focus for hours. At one point he just ran downstairs turned on the treadmill and started sprinting at the fasted possible speed for like 2 minutes.
In efforts to use what we have and save money we've been making bread a little more often. Here is an artistic shot Breck took. It has been fun to enjoy the difference between fresh and store bought bread. We can consume almost a loaf a day especially if there isn't much else. I'm not sure if this is Landen's batch but he has even made a batch.
Capriel before her haircut given by Breck. She was all for it!
Capriel has been sick for what seems like 90% of her time since we moved. Here was her latest. Roseola. A simple childhood virus, it nonetheless made her very unhappy. As usual for her, her sleep gets affected which seems to exacerbate all her other symptoms.
I think it is time for us to get her checked out for food and other potential allergies.
