Breakfast in bed! Breck orchestrated a lovely Mother's day breakfast in bed. Fruit shake, breakfast casserole. I felt so blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful precious children. Rhyse even brought up the fork wrapped up pretty in a napkin. Mother's day brought me lots of time to see these children in a new light and to recognize all that I want for them, and all that I want to be for them. I got lots of cards and notes and a gorgeous drawing of all the kids eyes from Breck. Thank you for making it a special day!.
This mother's day as we once again got to talk to Devin, I felt a renewed gratitude for the sacreness of a family, and for the incredible blessing that it is to be a part of a unit that has such strength, purpose and love.
I also had some very sacred experiences in recognizing the blessing of my own Mother. I feel a renewed desire to honor her, bless her, and thank her for the life she gave me, for the mother that she was and continues to be for me. I spent considerable time during a long night recently thinking about her and her attributes and involvement in my life. Her level of committment, involvement, determination, sacrifice, and support are really unprecendented in my book.
