Look at this beautiful Smile!!

 The much anticipated event of this week was the removal of Talia's first  set of braces.  She has been counting down the day for about 6 weeks and was highly excited for this event.  We think she looks lovely!.  Here she is with her stash of treats and prizes that she purchased with the "bucks" that she has saved for her entire brace-wearing stint.  She got the bucks for all sorts of "good orthodontic behaviors" like brushing, wearing your ortho shirt, etc...  She was a little wierded out at first by how slimy her teeth felt, but I think she is used to it now.  We celebrated by using one of the gift cards and taking her to a shake place where she ordered an "all that Raz" shake.  Talia is a very fun girl with an infectious easy laugh and a tendency towards all things silly.  She is also very "on the ball" and loves to be organized and "on task."  She keeps all our schedules straight and is a very good person to ask if Mom's not around and you need to know anything.
