After much anticipating and planning, we packed our little family off to California for a week of vacation down in the La Jolla area. Upon arriving, we were all a little disturbed that our condo was directly next to a 7/11, convenience store, but the close proximity proved a wonderful advantage for last minute pickups.
Also meeting us there were the Pete's, The Pete's and the Pete. Translation: Grandma and Grandpa Pete with Addy and Dantz, Derek's crew, and Devin. We were so glad that they were able to share these fun memories with us!

These pictures show my personal favorite parts of the whole trip. The beach. Sun, sand and sea.
Rhyse: "Embrace the sun....... and then forward to downward dog...... are you with me?"
There were many little crabs hidden in the crevices of the large sand boulders on the beach. Here was my bravest attempt to catch one the first night.
It's funny that some of the most amazing pictures and favorite pictures we have of Capriel are her in the air. It's so fitting for her personality.

A little ways from "our beach" where we usually hung out, there were tide pools. They were definitely a favorite. Collecting shells, and poking into the little universes inhabited by the little anenome's and crabs was enjoyed by all.
