Capriel turns 7!!!

 For Capriel's birthday this year she decided that she wanted to go ice skating.  We had a great time racing, chasing, falling, trying to skate underneath each others legs and being silly.  Capriel skated so hard that she even had to get rid of her big coat. 

 Talia is a dear dear friend to Rhyse and is often the only one who can help her when she is in "one of those moods." 

 Me, just after landing an incredibly powerful and elegant triple-sow-cow or whatever that is called. 

Capriel chose hamburgers for her dinner (big surprise) and german pancakes for breakfast.  Capriel is a very special girl.  She loves reading and can often be found asleep with a book on her face or chest.  She is reading lots of big chapter books-her most recent being The Secret of Nimph.  She adores horses and wishes more than anything that we could own one.  She often sleeps with a little beanie horse and has an entire herd of various kinds of horses in her room.   She is a great artist and likes to draw, paint, and create.  She would prefer to eat only carbs and proteins and upon finding something she actually (this doesn't happen very often)  likes she can put away incredible amounts of food.  She spends most of her free time doing cartwheels, handstands, backhandsprings (she looks like a little frog when she does them)  She loves Pepper and likes to spend her wake up minutes in the morning laying next to her their noses nearly touching.  She does wonderful in school and has learned a lot of chinese songs and words.  She often adds chinese writing to her artwork.  She is able to stay on task and work hard at school, but when she comes home, sometimes she is so fried she can hardly function.  Capriel is tender, impetuous, free spirited, and full of life and energy.  She adores her sisters and can't get enough time to play with them.  Her muscles still bulge and her body is still as tight and ripped as ever.  A funny thing that has been happening lately is that I've found her a few times in her bed without a shirt on.  I think in her tossing and turning and who knows what kind of dreaming she just gets a little too hot or twisted up in the sheets and the shirt just comes off!  She is doing great in violin and is beginning to review for her BK 2 recital.  She is a good sightreader and had a great experience being in the orchestra before Christmas.  It really pushed her, but even though she was really young she was brave and did her best.

  Capriel got lucky and ended up opening the $20 bill that Gma harrison put in one of her white elephant gifts.
